Jim
is upgrading to a new boat for the 2007 fishing season!
New
this year is a 26 foot Campion Toba Hardtop.
The
new boat has a roomy backdeck, (8'9" beam) to fish from, a
big cabin to escape the weather if needed, and a private stand-up
head. There is also a rear-deck steering station that keeps me close
to the action when the big ones bite.
She is outfitted with 2 Scotty Electric Downriggers, Depth Sounder/Fish
Finder, Pro-Troll Black Box, Icom IC-M422 VHF Marine Radio, Lowrance
LCX-112c GPS/Chartplotter/Sonar, Garmin 45 Handheld GPS, and the
best fishing tackle available. The 2007 season will see 4 Shimano
TDR1902 downrigger rods with Shimano GT4000 single action mooching
reels, 2 Shimano TLC66H Halibut rods with Penn reels. I carry tackle
for downrigger trolling, heavy Halibut jigging, and light tackle
mooching. For slow trolling and emergency backup there is a smooth
running 9.9 horsepower, 4 stroke Yamaha outboard.
The
boat will comfortably carry up to 4 guests, and has a private onboard
marine head (toilet).
As
a professional, Jim carries full insurance.
